Holiday Cheer with Ted and Sheila Sheila and Ted Foster were really happy to host Zoom Happy Hours on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve. With about 15 registered for each, we put on our party gear, poured our favourite tipple, served nibbles, and shared joyous greetings with one another from the safety and comfort of our own homes. Let’s hope next year we can meet in person to do this again. Oakridge Community Garden The garden has gone to sleep for winter but good things are still happening down there. Lights installed on the pergola cheer up the neighbourhood. Drop off books to their Little Library (gardening books preferred). Check out their Facebook page for Little Library walking tours around Oakridge. Shout Outs Have you experienced or seen any outstanding neighbourly acts of kindness? Send us your shout-out to highlight here. Oakridge Echo Check out the latest edition of the Official Oakridge Community Newsletter, the Echo by clicking here.
