Acting President/ Vice President - Julie Kearns
Resident in Oakridge since 1978, married to Jim, parent of 3 and grandma to 8. Julie is a semi-retired adult educator and evaluation consultant, following 32 years as a faculty member at the University of Calgary. Julie is also a board member of the Oakridge Community Association. In her free time Julie enjoys genealogy and gardening. OSA Focus: Making Oakridge a community for all ages and building OSA into a strong and viable organization.
Treasurer - Shelley Goldstein
Resident of Oakridge since 2012, married to Ken, parent of 4, step-parent of 4, Nana to 12. Shelley is a Certified Professional Bookkeeper (CPB) with more than 35 years’ experience. She is passionate about helping businesses move their books to the cloud. She works with business owners to help them better understand the financial side of running their business. Her interests include walking, reading, gardening, knitting and languages. OSA focus: Moving our accounting records to the cloud, financial viability, accountability and sustainability.

Director, Communications - Sheila Foster
Resident of Oakridge since 1976, married to Ted (52 years) no children. Sheila is a retired President of Target Communications and Accredited member International Association of Business Communicators (ABC). She is an independent contractor with public sector, private sector and not-for-profit clients. Sheila has a business background of twenty-five years in the automobile industry (London, England,) insurance (Toronto) and oil and gas exploration and development (Calgary). She is a graduate and past PR Advisory Committee chair of the Mount Royal University Public Relations program. OSA Focus: Marketing & Communications.
Oakridge Seniors Association Manager
Sarah has devoted much of her time volunteering on different non-profit boards. Born and raised in Calgary, she lives with her husband, two school-age children and her rescue dog Brewser. After running a successful day-home for eight years while her children were little, she decided it was time to get more involved with non-profits. In her free time, Sarah enjoys all types of crafting, especially knitting. OSA focus: to organize and facilitate programs, members, and volunteers.
Community Engagement Strategist
Teresa Nelson Keller
Teresa has worked in the non-profit sector for the past 20 years in a variety of fields. Her experience primarily focuses on non-profit management, organizational development, community engagement, and communications. In her spare time, you will find Teresa volunteering as a Girl Guide leader, attending school field trips at Louis Riel with her son and daughter, and teaching yoga. OSA Focus: Communications, Community Engagement & Board Governance
